Quilt/Project Contest

Who wants to show off their stuff? Calling all piece makers!!! One of our favourite things in the store, is seeing your projects and we would like to reward you for your hard work. We will be hosting a small quilt/sewing contest in the store. We will have two different categories. One category will be for larger projects such as quilts and one will be for smaller projects such as crib size quilts, bags, jackets and other smaller quilted projects.

Rules

(No one likes them but we have to have them)

* Your projects must contain fabrics purchased from Thimbles & Things (minimum 60% fabrics from T&T)
* Fabrics must have been purchased within the last 5 years
*Each person can make one submission for each category
*All entries must be submitted by February 20th. Projects must be completed

We have never done this before so feel free to ask questions. If you are willing, we would love to hang your projects in the store for the Month of February.

Voting will commence both in-store and online starting on February 24th. More details to follow about voting online.

How Can I Enter?

Simply email TTQS, info@thimblesandthings.com, with your submission(s) or pop by the store. Please include your name, pattern

and any other details you would like to share with us. 

 The winner will be announced in our Newsletter on March 6th

Large Project Prize: $100.00 Gift Card

STITCH, STOPS & STAGE TOUR 2026

April 30 to May 3rd, 2026

Thimbles & Things is excited to announce a joint adventure with Gem Sewing.
This bus tour will make its first stop in Sudbury and then move down the highway for a second pick up at Thimbles & Things.
